How to play Animal Mahjong Connect
Tap two tiles with the same picture. If they can be joined by a line with no more than two turns that does not pass through other tiles, they disappear. The line may travel through the empty lane around the outside of the board. Clear every tile to finish the round.
There is no timer and no sign-up. Every round comes with hints and a shuffle, and undo is unlimited. Every deal is guaranteed to be solvable, and if you ever run out of moves you get a free shuffle. Pick a small, medium or large board (36, 56 or 72 tiles): small for a quick pause, large when you have more time.
Every cleared board earns a postcard from your companion's world. Each world has six, and the sixth only comes from the Daily Board. Play the Daily Board each day to grow your streak; a weekly streak freeze covers a missed day.
Six worlds to unwind in
Swim with the Rainbow Turtle, wander the lavender fields with the Garden Bunny, walk the autumn woods with the Forest Fox, rest by the Lily Pond Frog, slide across the ice with the Snowy Penguin and nap in the garden with the Blossom Kitten. Each world has its own board shape and watercolor scene, and seasonal themes join from time to time.

Is Animal Mahjong Connect free?
Yes. It is free to play in your browser with no sign-up. Each round includes a set number of hints and shuffles; Pro members get unlimited hints and shuffles and no ads.
How do you play Mahjong Connect?
Find two identical tiles that can be joined by a line with at most two turns that does not cross other tiles. The line may run around the outside of the board. Clear all the tiles to win.
What if there are no moves left?
Use a shuffle to rearrange the remaining tiles. If you are out of shuffles and have no other option, the game gives you a free shuffle automatically, so a board never gets stuck.
Do I need to know mahjong to play?
No. You only need to spot matching pictures, and the small numbers and wind letters in the tile corners help. If you want to learn the real four-player game, try the free Mahjong Coach.
